    People that have written poor reviews - really? The place is great. Prices are more than reasonable for what you are getting (this isn't McDonalds!) and the staff are gorgeous. Highly recommended.

  • Review of "Flippin' Pancakes" at Sassafras

    They had obviously over-booked for Mother's Day and service was extremely slow. We kept reminding the servers about our meal. As for the wine, after 2 reminders to 2 different servers we eventually got it ourselves from the bar. Admittedly the entree and main was good. Dessert was far from what was written on the menu - pancakes were cold and the white choc turned out to be white choc buttons on the plate. We had to send 2 desserts back to be warmed. It was disappointing as the surroundings were great and the salmon was delicious. Compensation was not charging us for the coffees!

    This is the most beautiful place in the Dandenong. Doing the 1000 Steps is great. Awesome atmosphere. Beautiful scenery.
